California State University, Fresno (“Fresno State”) turned to PlanNet Consulting to assist with developing and selecting an upgraded Voice/Telecommunications system to replace their current telephone system campus-wide. PlanNet provided consulting services for Bid Support, RFP Development, and Vendor Selection. As part of RFP evaluation support, the effort included identification of issues in the proposals; normalizing vendor responses; and ensuring that proposals were complete and comparable. PlanNet developed and supported completion of a matrix worksheet and weighting approach to evaluate vendor responses with respect to the University’s required criteria and categories. In addition, PlanNet conducted detailed Total-Cost-of Ownership (TCO) financial analysis of each vendor as part of the RFP evaluation phase.
