Beats By Dre
The Beats By Dre headquarters in Culver City, California, spreads out over three buildings totaling 105,000 SF. The new headquarters consists of three different complexes, the main building, which is home to sales, marketing, finance, and administration, is connected to the second building – the social and creative hub of the headquarters, which includes a mixing studio, café, small gym, and relaxing area. The third building holds the product development and engineering team and a cutting-edge acoustical testing lab.
Audiovisual elements are incorporated throughout the complex, including in the conference rooms, board rooms, celebrity lounge room, marketing and operation areas, executive offices, and public spaces. The conference rooms and boardrooms have video teleconferencing abilities that allow video and audio conference calls both nationwide and internationally.
The presentation area has a large video screen/video projector and sound system for large group meetings. This system can stream the meeting over the company network simultaneously, so those who cannot attend in person may still view and listen to the presentation.
Wireless connectivity is available throughout. A new VoIP system was implemented.
