Online programming provider Hulu is moving to Santa Monica, joining other entertainment companies like Lions Gate and MTV. Hulu will soon move into over 90,000 square feet of space at the Colorado Center.
PlanNet is programming the design and providing implementation oversight for the structured communications cabling technologies and audiovisual (AV) technologies. The new office will have a fun design with numerous displays and user inputs for use by the employees. Large HD resolution flat panel displays, audio and video teleconferencing systems, ceiling mounted PTZ cameras, and distributed audio system using ceiling speakers will be located throughout the office.
The AV systems shall be controlled by a wired or wireless control system. Features like wireless microphone systems will be available for use during meetings and to provide far audio reach while interacting via video teleconference call. “Game Hubs” for small meeting usage or relaxing during breaks will have wall mounted HD resolution flat panel displays. A media input panel will provide connectivity for current as well as future systems.
