PlanNet Consulting recently completed another Student Housing Project for Boise State University in Idaho. The Lincoln Avenue Student Housing project consists of (5) separate four-story buildings supporting 90 units and 360 beds. Each building had a dedicated Telecom Room to support the backbone and horizontal cable infrastructure.
PlanNet was contracted under Oz Architecture (Denver, CO) to provide a cable plant design to support each residential unit and the capability of connecting to the University network. The design also included coordination with the local cable provider to support CATV distribution to each TV outlet. The project is currently in its 13th month of construction with only the landscaping and recreational areas to be completed.
