A $40 million updated 485-room Sheraton Hotel is marked to contribute significantly to the urban revitalization of Downtown Los Angeles.
The Sheraton Hotel is part of the Bloc, a mixed-use urban development, which also includes a 33-story office tower, retail spaces and parking, and is the largest single mixed-use property in the city.
The Sheraton Hotel project demands performing full renovations to all guest rooms, the lobby, and common areas as well as the addition of a new pool on the roof. As the Technology Consultant for the 26-story Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown Hotel, PlanNet is currently working on validating requirements, evaluating options including costs and benefits, and providing recommendations to support the following systems:
- Conceptual data network;

- Wireless network;
- Technology infrastructure including MDF, IDF and distribution methodologies;
- CATV system for in-room entertainment;
- CCTV video surveillance;
- Audio visual systems including video walls, digital signage, conference center audio visual, and in-room LED/LCD displays; and
- In-room control systems.
