72 & Sunny, a full-service design and advertising company was relocating to two separate facilities in Playa Vista, California. As part of their relocation efforts, PlanNet was requested to develop performance specifications for the structured communications cabling systems and audio visual systems and assist with the bidding process to select design-build integrators who will design and install the systems.
The facilities include Building I and Building 2. Building 1 will house approximately 210 employees, and includes a 275 SF server room. Building 2 will house 84 employees and was built with extra room for growth. Since staff in both buildings rely heavily on wireless, data connectivity was a of top priority.
Audio visual services were provided for the following spaces: reception/lobby area; board rooms; offices; various conference rooms; outdoor patio; various public spaces such as a gallery and open lounges area; studio/print room; a 300-seat auditorium; the edit bays; and a green screen/photo area.
