PlanNet was engaged to assist the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) with their relocation to a new 84,000 square feet at 1200 West Seventh Street., Los Angeles (the Garland Building) where PlanNet provided the following services:
- Structured Communications Cabling System (SCCS): Planning, design and implementation oversight of the Data Center
- Data Network Design: Design of technical specifications for the wired and wireless data network hardware and implementation oversight; The Scope of Work also included incorporating the wireless signal from the outside of the building into CRA’s conference rooms at the Garland Building and creations of a Network Cutover Plan to cut over other CRA regional offices networks to connect to 1200 West Seventh Street.
- Audiovisual Systems Gap Analysis: Evaluate the Audiovisual systems currently installed at the Garland location’s Auditorium and evaluate capability of the systems to support CRA’s needs for Board meetings.
- Systems/Data Center Migration Planning: Develop an appropriate migration strategy for the CRA to support the relocation of the server assets from the existing Data Center to the new Data Center.
