The Sheraton at the Bloc, The Broad and the Petersen Automotive Museum project all win Gold at the Los Angeles Business Journal Commercial Real Estate Awards.
The Sheraton at the Bloc won the Gold Award for the Best Hospitality Project. The Broad for Best Public Project, and Petersen Automotive Museum for Best Redevelopment Project.
The newly renovated and expanded 26-story Sheraton Los Angeles downtown hotel is a portion of the Bloc. The Bloc is a mixed-use urban development, which also includes a 33-story office tower, retail spaces and parking. PlanNet provided technology advisory services for this project.
The Broad is LA’s new contemporary art museum located in Downtown Los Angeles. As part of the project team, PlanNet was brought in by the Broad Foundation to work on the design of the physical infrastructure and cabling and the audio visual infrastructure and systems.
The new Petersen Automotive Museum showcases the art, experience, culture and heritage of the automobile. On this renovation project, PlanNet provided design, bid support and implementation oversight for the voice/data infrastructure, the audio visual systems and the security systems.
