Hyundai Motor America is in the process of demolishing its 21 year old U.S. headquarters in Fountain Valley, California, and is constructing a new sophisticated LEED Gold certified facility on the property. PlanNet is delivering the programming, design, acquisition process management, and implementation oversight for their wired and wireless voice and data network infrastructure as well as all physical security and audio visual systems.
The new ground-up headquarters will be comprised of six levels at approximately 360,000 SF, including a 10,000 SF lobby to showcase their ever-expanding and award-winning U.S. automobile lineup. The building will also include a single level Tech Center/Service Building of approximately 60,000 SF, which will house Hyundai’s National Tech Center and Western Region.
The $150 million complex is expected to be completed by the end of 2013.
