Andrew Harrod, President, Managing Principal

Mr. Harrod is the President and Managing Principal of PLANNET where he oversees strategic development, finance and operations.  In this role, he brings a passion for achieving optimized outcomes for clients, employees and their company.  Prior to joining PLANNET, Andrew was with Sempra Energy and its California utilities SoCalGas and San Diego Gas & Electric as a member of the executive leadership team for over 10 years, achieving outstanding results running divisions of 100s of employees and annual operating and capital budgets in the 100s of millions.  Prior to Sempra he held leadership positions with premier IT consulting firms EDS (now HP) and Perot Systems (now Dell).  Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Finance and has completed executive leadership programs at Columbia, Stanford, UCSD and CalPoly.  He currently holds credentials of Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM), Project Management Professional (PMP) and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Practitioner.  Andrew has a strong commitment to child and animal welfare and often volunteers his services as a pilot and emergency medical technician to various organizations.
