Andrew Harrod, President

Andrew Harrod is the President of PLANNET, where he oversees corporate finance, strategic account development, and operations. In this role, he is passionate about achieving optimized outcomes for PLANNET clients, employees, and their companies.

Before joining PLANNET, Andrew was employed with Sempra and its California utilities SoCalGas and San Diego Gas & Electric. As a member of the executive leadership team for over ten years, he created strategic pathways and achieved outstanding results for the business while managing divisions of hundreds of employees and overseeing annual operating and capital budgets in the 100s of millions. An agent of change, Andrew and his organization were honored with board-level recognition for innovation and financial stewardship. In this ten-year period, he was one of only four people to have been honored with the Chairman’s Award, the company’s highest accolade.

Before his time at Sempra, Andrew held leadership positions with premier technology consulting firms EDS (HP Enterprise, now DXC) and Perot Systems (now Dell). Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and has completed executive leadership programs at Columbia Business School and the Stanford School of Engineering. He currently holds the credentials of Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Practitioner.
